ONE PICTURE SAYS IT ALL

Pictured here are owners Jordan and Lidia Koppen along with Jordan's dad Bill Koppen, who played a key role in the original replica wilderness sign being created back in 2019 as a retirement gift. The original idea of "Boundary Sign Co." was created solely on the idea that these signs can be replicated down to the exact specs you'd find on the trail! We think that dormant pictures in your phone aren't good enough, now you can buy one of these to place on your wall!

OUR VISION

Jordan and Lidia are avid outdoor enthusiasts that love to get their kids out for adventures! The goal is not to just sell signs, but to encourage others to share the same passions for wilderness areas to future generations so we all have a deep understanding and concern for how important these places are!

HOW THE FIRST SIGN CAME TO BE

Jordan had the unique experience of being a game warden’s kid and had his first trip into the Bob Marshall Wilderness at the young age of 8 years old. Almost every year after that, his dad Bill would take him on multiple pack trips on horses into “The Bob.” Every time they’d pass by the sign at Pyramid Pass, Jordan’s dad Bill would often joke about stealing a wilderness sign before he retired someday, and Jordan never forgot it. A few years before Bill retired, he brought ¼ of a old wilderness sign from pyramid pass that was lying on the ground to Jordan and asked if he could finish the rest of it with his wood working skills. Jordan thought to himself, “i’m just going to carve him a brand new one and give it to him at his retirement party.” Bill got the very first wilderness sign made from Boundary Sign Co. and the rest is history.

Our Mission

10% of my profits goes to these kids in Thailand

In 2013, I had an awesome opportunity to travel to Thailand with a YWAM team. It was hands down the most influential time of my life. Human trafficking runs rampid in this country, and unfortunately many times families in small villages sell their daughters to prostitutes so they can keep their land. Sometimes they sell daughters as young as the little girl sitting in the picture. It absolutely breaks my heart. Now that I have two daughters of my own and look back at pictures like these, I get a great sense of unrest and that I need to help in some way. I believe lives can be changed by helping one person at a time. If you'd like to donate, click the link below to donate directly to the organization i've worked with directly! Thanks, Jordan.
